The Skills Stage & The Real World Stage
This course is like no other course that we offer; it is unique, innovative, and challenging.
It is designed to build your global skill set and ultimately increase your employability. It focuses on collaboration to complete work-based tasks/projects in English companies, in both physical and virtual environments.
The course consists of 2 stages:
- Stage 1 – The Skills Stage
- Stage 2 – The Real World Stage.
You can choose to do the course face-to-face at Capital School of English or online
Course Overview
WEEK 1: THE SKILLS STAGE
- 30 hours (1 week) to complete.
- This stage focuses on developing your 21st Century Skills, such as teamwork, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking.
- It includes workshops on practical skills, such as project planning, time-management and presentations.
- A short project incorporates all skills (21st Century and Practical) from the week’s sessions/workshops.
WEEK 2: THE REAL-WORLD STAGE
- 30 hours per week (1 week) to complete.
- This stage expands on the skills introduced in The Foundation Stage, and introduces you to the world of work by collaborating with a local company.
- The company sets a real-world project task for you and your colleagues to complete. The company provide support, their expertise and feedback on your final project.
- 30 hours per week.
- Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 17:00
with a morning tea break, lunch break and afternoon tea break.

Course Objectives

During the course, you will:
- Develop your 21st Century skills (critical thinking, collaboration, communication, etc)
- Develop your Practical skills (project planning, time-management and presentations)
- Develop your confidence to speak in English inside and outside the classroom

The Hub: This space was designated for FUTURE SUCCESS. It is designed for flexibility and collaboration. You can use this space to establish meeting, study, research and relaxation spaces, as required.
The online platform: FUTURE SUCCESS is backed by the use of G Suite for business. It is a powerful tool for collaborative-work and has lots of creative online tools to promote teamwork, interaction and project development.
