World Marmite Day  

At Capital School of English, we love any reason to come together and celebrate English culture or cultures from around the world, and it is even better if it involves food. 

On September 28^th we celebrated World Marmite Day with a taster session for our students.  

We were very honest with them beforehand and told them that you either LOVE IT or HATE IT. 

Most of them had never tried it before, and they weren’t too sure about it when they saw the texture. They all gave it a try; some took one bite, pulled a funny face and put it down, never to touch it again. Others went for a second and even third bite, and Mohammed wanted to take the whole jar.
