TDP Intensive & TDP Modules
Our Teacher Development Programmes (TDP) are aimed at both newly qualified teachers and more experienced teachers seeking to develop their skills for online or classroom courses.
Our TDP tutor will conduct a needs analysis for the teachers on each course and create a programme according to the needs of the group.
Course Overview
A full course consists of 20 modules in total, all of which cover the following areas:
- Learner styles and classroom management
- Teaching language skills (reading, listening, speaking and writing)
- Teaching language systems (grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation)
- Lesson planning and making use of resources
- Modern teaching approaches, methodologies and techniques
The course is available face to face or live and online.
- 20 x 90-minute sessions, Monday – Friday (mornings and afternoons).

Course Dates
TDP Intensive starts any Monday of the year.
TDP Modules start any day of the year between Monday and Friday.
Course Description
LEVEL:
Before you start your Teacher Development Programme, you will need to complete placement test to check your level of English and complete a needs analysis questionnaire.
TUTORS:
Modules are delivered by DELTA-qualified trainers with experience in: School management, Cambridge Assessment and CELTA tutoring.
CERTIFICATION:
Trainees will receive a certificate of attendance listing all of the modules attended.
Course Objectives
- To familiarise new and experienced teachers with a range of practical techniques they can apply in the classroom.
- To build teachers’ confidence in teaching different skills and systems of English.
- To help teachers plan effectively and make use of a wide range of published English language materials.
