The Cambridge English Exams are internationally recognised and can open doors to higher education, improve employment opportunities, and increase your choices for study or work. Before you start your Cambridge exam preparation classes, your level of English will be assessed. You must have the required level to join any of our Cambridge exam preparation courses.
Exam preparation at Capital School of English:
At Capital School of English, we understand the importance of achieving your desired result for this test. We are here to help with exam preparation lessons and booking the exam. It is recommended that you study for the full duration of the course (see course dates). However, you can join after the start date or for shorter periods. It is also recommended that you combine this course with General English lessons to develop your overall language and communication skills.

Course Description
All our Cambridge English Exam Preparation courses aim to develop the exam skills required to allow students to reach their potential in the exam.
OUR PRACTICE TESTS:
Each week you will answer Cambridge exam questions in exam conditions to see your development and track your progress. In addition, you will do a full mock practice test of all parts, including 2 speaking tests.
PROGRESS CHECKS:
Regular homework and monthly Tutorials with your teacher.
Course Objectives
By the end of any of our Cambridge Exam Preparation courses, you will:
- Be familiar with the requirements of the exam
- Be familiar with the different exam task questions
- Develop your confidence to answer the questions
- Develop your exam skills and techniques
- Develop your reading, writing, listening and speaking skills
- Develop your vocabulary and grammar
- Develop your study skills

Approximate exam fees for 2023 are:
Cambridge First Certificate Exam (FCE): £205
Cambridge Advanced Exam (CAE): £215
Cambridge Proficiency Exam (CPE): £225
All prices are in Pound Sterling (£GBP). Prices for 10, 11 and 12 week courses include course fee, registration fee, Cambridge resources (coursebooks) and Cambridge practice test materials. Exam Fee Price is for the Bournemouth Exam Centre. The nearest exam centre is in Bournemouth.
