Capital School of English is a family-run, independent language school.
Our school is located on the south coast of England in a seaside town called Bournemouth.
Students have been studying English at Capital School of English since 2003, and also via our live online courses since 2013.
Our mission is to help and support every student on their personal learning journey;
to develop their English language skills and confidence, and achieve their individual English language potential.

Iโm originally from Venezuela and have been living in the UK all my adult life.
I understand the transition our students go through while they adapt to life in the UK.
My background is in finance and in 2003 Spencer and I decided to combine our expertise and Capital School of English was born.
Prior to opening Capital School of English, I worked for a National Newspaper, where I gained experience in sales and marketing. I also have a recognised English Language Teaching Qualification.
I sit on the English UK Board of Directors (our National Association).
My main area of responsibility includes travelling to support our partners overseas.
My English has improved here. We have friendly teachers and good lessons!
I really like the activities because you can meet the other guys from other countries and you can also see the English culture.
The lessons and teachers here are really nice. You understand everything very well and they explain everything clearly. Iโve only been here one week and Iโve already learned so much!
